As a introductory test of brand activations, we partnered with Gracie’s in Somerville, MA to host an ice cream giveaway. Working with a small budget, we wanted to give our Summer Black Friday promo a final push for bookings. With the team, I produced stickers, shirts, posters, postcards, decor, and set up the physical shop by decorating doors, sidewalks, and the ice cream case. Our event was slotted for five hours, and thanks to our social posts, influencer outreach, PR, and Union Square foot traffic, we sold out in three hours and generated 59 form submissions and 101 page visits. Not bad considering our average ice cream customer was under 12.
